Mitsubishi International Corporation (MIC) is the principal U.S. subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, one of Japan's largest trading companies. MIC is headquartered in midtown Manhattan with other offices located throughout the United States.

MIC's success and international recognition come primarily from applying our traditional values of diligence, commitment to teamwork, customer service and long-term strategic planning to business opportunities around the globe. We recognize that our strength is a direct result of the diversity, flexibility, dedication and hard work of each of our employees. Our business groups, as well as the support divisions responsible for general administration of the company, require many different skills, including the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.

Positions at MIC, particularly in our business groups, tend to be more broadly defined than in many companies. For example, a sales representative not only has responsibility for the selling activity, he or she may also be responsible for handling market research, sourcing product, developing a customer base and managing inventory as well as credit collection. Our business people interact with a complex web of both domestic and international customers and suppliers. Aside from the particular expertise associated with a position, people who join MIC must be willing to take on challenges and learn new skills not typically required in the more narrowly focused positions available in many other companies.

Due to the heavy volume of resumes that MIC receives daily, we do not retain unsolicited applications for employment. We will, however, periodically post available positions on the Internet through such publications as The New York Times. We frequently use recruitment agencies that specialize in International Trade or Import/Export.

Mitsubishi International Corporation recruits on an equal opportunity basis, with the intent of hiring qualified individuals regardless of their sex, race, religion, ethnic origin, age or physical abilities.
