Established in 1953, Shibaura Electronics Co., Ltd. has been the leading producer and supplier of innovative thermistors in Japan. In 1979, Shibaura completed development of absolute humidity sensors, using the Pellet Shaped Bead (PSB) type. The most recent product invented is a line of airflow sensors. Absolute humidity sensors and airflow sensors are unique in their working principle and characteristics, and are currently being applied in many commercial and industrial areas.
